Description

A forward-looking exploration into how CRM can better serve frontline bankers through contextual workflows, intelligent automation, and voice-based interactions. Designed to reduce manual effort and reimagine banking tasks at scale.

Context

As part of a special innovation initiative at JPMorgan Chase, BranchOS explored the next generation of customer relationship management tools used across 4,800 physical branches and by over 45,000 bankers in the U.S. Frontline bankers juggle fragmented tools, repetitive data entry, and time-consuming navigation, often at the expense of personal connection with customers. BranchOS explores how voice interfaces and AI agents shifts the paradigm from manual workflows to intelligent, conversational ones. Designing a system where bankers interact through natural voice inputs, we aimed to reduce cognitive load, surface real-time insights, and let bankers focus on human relationships. Presented to CEO Jamie Dimon, the work sparked a multi-partner collaboration with Salesforce, Microsoft, and OpenAI, laying the groundwork for an industry-wide shift in how human + machine collaboration powers banking experiences of the future.
